True story...

It was a relatively small audience. It was summer. Beautiful day that, oddly enough, I had hoped that the weather would not be so enticing because, for the audience that was not there, it was time to take the day to a beach.

Hence the audience but many nice people came. It was a Saturday afternoon.

And, I started to ask questions that had been on my mind for some time - decades in fact. That day started a journey that has continued ever since:

"Raise your hand if you want the person in your life to be truthful."

All raised their hand.

"Raise your hand if you want the person in your life to be a place of peace."

All raised their hands.

"Raise your hand if you want the person in your life to be an ultimate source of trust for you and you to them."

All raised their hands.

"Raise your hand if you want the person in your life to be caring."

All raised their hands.

"Raise your hand if you want the person in your life that loves to contribute because that is who they are."

All raised their hands.

And I kept going for ten minutes. Everyone had raised their hands to the questions asked and I told them, "I could do this for the next hour and every question I ask will...." And, I looked around the auditorium and faded off...

"Look around you. The entire room. Men, women. All races. Children. Every hand to the sky."

"Everyone wants the same thing."

"Now go and insist that the definitive for your life not be a set of goals.

Go be that person that you just said yes too."

"Every..."

"Day..."

"To everyone..."

That is where this started.
