As a writer, an engineer and someone who has always been fascinated by the history of Firsts I am reminded of old buildings. When I see one I wonder what stone was placed first. Where the stone was quarried. Who chose the rock. The first chisel upon. Horse drawn wagons arriving in early mornings and leaving with the sun. I also search for these moments in history, in people and in timing.

There seems to be a time when certainty is meant to be found. Pasts coalesce to a moment, create their own language and then, futures form unique opportunities.
