"When Coupon Days is mentioned to someone it always does three things.
First they smile and say, "I like that, I have never heard of it before."
Next there is a processing that happens in their eyes as they filter
through past memories at which point I say, "Filtering..."
Third is, "Hmmm, I have never thought about it (But they just did).
"Let me think about it...(Until I come up with something good)."
And when they do, the stories are fantastic.

This site is a lot of fun.
How it works is you are given
five coupons
when you are born.
Much, much later in life you can start to trade
them in one at a time. When you do you get to go back in time
and relive one day with a few stipulations and rules.

One. You can't change anything but you get to experience
the day from what you know now and appreciate it
even more than you did the first time. Perhaps even
gain some unique perspectives using time as a lens.

Two. It can't be the day one of your children was born or your
wedding day because that is way too easy. It has to be
something substantial to cherish and celebrate.
It is time's way of making you smile.

The picture above has smaller coupons and a few
more larger ones. You can give some of yours away if you would
like to someone you think could use one. The small ones
are for half-hour and two-hour smiles.

Please share your Coupon Days with the world
and help them smile as well."

There was a girl I had a crush on back in undergrad. She had a fiancee and we were never going to be anything beyond friends. One day we're walking to lunch after it had rained. She goes to jump over a puddle and loses her balance a little and grabs my hand so she doesn't fall.
It would be that day, just for those couple of seconds.
Swimming in a freshwater lake in Vermont camping with my family. Feeling the water and taking those deep long breathes in center of mountains of pine trees. Sitting around the campfire playing cards and listening to “Mystery Theater” on the radio. Sleeping safely next to my big sister in our popup camper with my parents on the other side.
The day I watched a pod of whales swimming under the Golden Gate Bridge.
